Monster Island, the Asylum's mockbuster for 2019, was released just in time with Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about an isolated island that has the same name as the island and where a creature lives.


Because of its low budget (about equivalent to a large children's meal), the filmmakers of this asylum film wisely choose to concentrate on only a handful of people, and to shoot all of the major Monster Island (2019) movie review moments involving the cast's A-listers during their lunch break. The Asylum may not do so badly considering that it is a kaiju movie.
